Thomas Hope, PhD, Professor of Cell and Molecular Biology, Feinberg School of Medical at Northwestern University, has been appointed incoming Editor-in-Chief of AIDS Research & Human Retroviruses from fall 2009. Dr. Hope received his PhD in immunology and training in molecular virology as a postdoctoral fellow.  Dr. Hope currently uses the techniques to cell biology to study HIV replication and transmission, and he is know for his live cell imaging studies of HIV biology.
